Bio.

Paul Gilbert :

As a photographer and sailor I have had the pleasure of living aboard a yacht in Auckland's Hauraki Gulf for the past ten Years.

The artist in me is thriving , documenting my environment:

its Maritime stories, heritage vessels and enduring wooden boats.

I have combined living aboard with instructing university students in the technical realisation of their photograpic art practice

and building the

www.aquapx.com collection.

 I am pleased to make this body of work available online.

With twenty years of maritime images at my disposal

please enjoy, and commision in confidence .

All images are available in most formats by negotiation.
